Below is a press release about a significant landmark in our agency’s history – the purchasing of a swank office condo in hip East Nashville – and here are links to stories in the Nashville Business Journal and Nashville Post about our purchase and impending move.
Our firm has grown tremendously in recent years and we are very grateful to our incredible clients for making it all possible.
So, here’s the press release:
With all of the national attention East Nashville has been getting lately, it was only a matter of time before the image-makers set up shop across the river, and the time has come: the Bradford Group announced today that it is moving to the Fifth & Main Building at 2115 Yeaman Place on the east bank of the Cumberland River.
CEO Jeff Bradford recently closed on the purchase of a 5,449-square-foot office condo on the second floor of the iconic glass and red-steel building designed by EOA Architects, who recently moved their offices to Fifth & Main. With Bradford’s purchase, the only unsold space in the building is another 5,500 square feet office condo on the floor above the Bradford Group’s new home. All other residential and retail space is sold.
Bradford was represented in the purchase by brokers Randy Parham and Roscoe High of Southeast Venture. The seller, VTH 5th and Main, LLC, of Arlington Heights, Ill., was represented by Chris Grear of Colliers Nashville. Interior design will be provided by Southeast Venture and Solomon Builders will build out the space.
Bradford said the move was prompted by the sustained growth of the agency, which saw its business increase by over 60 percent last year, and by his desire to provide his team with a great place to work in an attractive part of town. The office build-out is expected to begin shortly and Bradford said he looks for his firm to be in the new space by the first quarter of 2014.
“A lot of things came together to make this the right decision for our company: phenomenal business growth, a fantastic team and the right location at the right price – with plenty of parking, room to grow, exterior signage, a killer view of downtown and a stop on the proposed bus rapid transit system only steps from our door,” Bradford said. “Our team is very excited about the move. And, though it’s certainly not worthy of an historical marker, it is fun to be the only major PR firm to locate in East Nashville. Maybe we’ll put up our own historical marker as we put down new roots for our company.
“This move is really one more manifestation of our commitment to taking our company to the next level of success and scale,” Bradford added. “Thanks to our association with the Entrepreneurs’ Organization of Nashville, the Nashville Entrepreneur Center, Launch Tennessee and other drivers of innovation in this great city and state – as well as business coach extraordinaire Andy Bailey of Petra Coach – our company has never been stronger, our team has never been smarter and our future has never been brighter.”
“It was a pleasure to work with Jeff and his team to find the right home for their growing firm,” Parham said. “I think they have chosen wisely. Fifth and Main is a truly unique property and I believe that this move could reap marketing dividends for the Bradford Group, as well as be a wise real estate investment, as East Nashville has really just begun to come into its own as a strong real estate market. It was also a pleasure to help a good friend find the right home for his company. Jeff and I have been friends since our Junior Chamber days over 25 years ago. It’s fun to see your friends succeed.”
