Part of the fun of working for a great agency is being encouraged to think. Here are some of the things we’re thinking about.

Welcoming Our New Interns!

September 9, 2015 Bradford Group Administrator

As fall approaches, we are thrilled to welcome two new interns to the Bradford Group. When our Account Associates, Melody and Erica, announced they had selected two young women to join our team for next several months, they mentioned the ladies had amazing credentials. But it wasn’t until I got the chance to sit down and meet the ladies that I learned just how wonderful they truly are!

Without further ado, let me introduce you to Claudia and Holly.

School: Graduated from Perdue University

Major: Strategic Communication Management and Public Relations

Why PR? I started as a pharmacy major, but wasn’t very happy. So, a week before finals my (junior?) year, I realized I needed a change. I dropped all my classes for fall semester, booked a flight to Australia, with no plans of where to live or what to do, and left the next week. Once Down Under, through a series of clandestine events, I ended up taking a PR job and fell in love with it. Once I returned home (a year later), I switched majors and the rest is history.

Why did you choose the Bradford Group? After participating in a couple of intern interviews with other Public Relations firms, I was attracted to the Bradford Group’s formalized interview process and professionalism. Also, Nashville is only three hours from home, so it is not too far from family.

What are you most looking forward to learning during the internship? Everything! I want to get my hands on everything. I want to learn as much as possible during my time with the Bradford Group.

What do you love about Nashville? I have always been a big fan of old school country music like Hank Williams and Johnny Cash, so I thought what better place to intern than Nashville.

What do you like to do in your free time? Yoga (I am a yoga instructor), golf, reading and spending time with my white boxer

Favorite Movie: Secret Life of Walter Mitty

Favorite Place You’ve Ever Visited: Hobbiton, New Zealand

Favorite Memory: When I visited Germany, I got to see where my grandmother lived and was from. It holds a special place in my heart.

Favorite TV Show: Seinfeld

Favorite food: Italian

Why the Bradford Group: I was really drawn into the vibe of the Bradford Group      and the people that work here. I found the company overall impressive.

What are you most looking forward to learning? I did freelance work this    summer for a different internship, so I looking forward to learning about every day office life and the inner workings of a PR agency.

What do you love about Nashville? The food! It’s hard to pick my favorite restaurant because there are so many, but I love Rosepepper Cantina and Mitchell’s Deli to name a few.

What do you like to do in your free time? Spend time with my family, run, write and read

Favorite Movie: Big Fish

Favorite Place You’ve Ever Visited: The Swiss Alps. After I graduated in December, I spent six weeks traveling abroad in Europe. While I saw so many gorgeous places, my favorite was the Swiss Alps.
