The “it” factor. It’s not easy to describe, but you know it when you see it. It’s one of the most, if not the most, important qualities we look for when hiring.

Our small, but mighty, 11-person team is packed with what we consider to be true rockstars. Here are a few things that we think make us the “it” group to work with:
By maintaining a close relationship with our clients, we stay on top of what’s happening in their businesses and industries so that our marketing efforts hit the mark. We put in the time needed to understand our clients’ industries on a deep level, and not just at the beginning of our relationship, but everyday. For us, every day is a school day.
When we’re hiring, we look for someone who is inquisitive, driven to learn and energized by it.
Our team members are what you might call self-starters. We look to our clients for the goals they want to accomplish, but don’t expect them to tell us how to achieve them. It’s our job to make things happen for our clients.
We look for this innate drive in all potential team members. If they don’t have it now, they won’t have it when we hire them. As Paul Roetzer puts it, “they must be a born leader.”
We’re not satisfied with average results. We go above and beyond to make things happen for our clients. We love when clients tell us is that they see us as an extension of their team because that’s exactly how we feel. And that’s exactly why we feel the pain when something goes wrong or an opportunity is missed. Focusing on meeting and exceeding expectations is our biggest driver.
Being able to see the big picture and understand what opportunities will help advance our clients’ success is something we look for in any potential new hire.
My advice to any job seekers out there is to not hold back during an interview – let your personality show and don’t be afraid to lead the conversation. Ask questions and tell your story. Let “it” shine.
