We have a lot of entrepreneurial clients, and lately I’ve spent a lot of time asking them about the personality traits that most entrepreneurs have. The answers have varied slightly, but there are some common themes:
- Entrepreneurs are risk takers.
- They believe anything is attainable.
- They are driven.
- Basically, they are Type A personalities.
That made me think about what personality traits are common at the Bradford Group. If you read our blog on a regular basis, you already know about our DiSC assessments, the “it” factor that we look for when we hire people, and that we’re super hip and ready to move to East Nashville.
We’re currently hiring an account executive so if you’re looking for a job, read on to see if your personality fits with ours.
We’re hard working.
We’re a small, but talented (and modest!) team that juggles writing, media relations, inbound marketing, social media and more on a daily basis. If you walk through our office, you’ll find all of us working diligently. There are no slackers.
We’re funny.
Groupies have a good sense of humor. We can poke fun at ourselves and at each other, and we’re willing to do it on our blog and social media. At 4 p.m. on Fridays, you can find us in the conference room enjoying a beer, where we may be making fun of the latest Miley Cyrus video or doing a dramatic reading of something funny in the news. (Seriously, did you read this?)
We’re fearless.
Calling a national reporter that has 10 stories due by the end of the week to pitch a story about a client isn’t for the faint of heart. We do what we have to do to generate great results for our clients. If they need us to do something new, we will learn how to do it and do it well without taking the time to be scared of the unknown.
We’re welcoming.
Any agency should love their clients, but we take it to the next level. As soon as a new client comes on board, we become a committed marketing partner, and we do whatever we can to help that company succeed. We’re also welcoming to new employees and interns. We want this to be a good work environment, and we’ve worked hard (read: provided free beer) to make it one.
We’re passionate.
Groupies care about their jobs, their clients and the Bradford Group. We’re growing at a fast rate, and we’re all doing our part to help the company continue to expand. We’re passionate about the work we do for our clients and the results we generate.
