Join us in congratulating Avery Driggers on her recent promotion to account executive. In her new role, Avery will handle the public relations and marketing for multiple client accounts, including a commercial real estate firm, an international manufacturing and distribution company and a creative content shop that products music videos, tour content and ads for music artists.
She joined the Bradford Group as an account associate in March 2014. Prior to joining our team, she served as assistant editor for Taste of the South magazine, where she wrote all major feature stories.
Avery has impressed us all with her ability to learn quickly and adapt to the changing environment that comes with agency life. She portrays the traits that make a great employee:
A Go-Getter. At the Bradford Group, we do what it takes to get our clients the results they need to grow their businesses. From the start, Avery has put in the extra mile to achieve results.
Innovative. Always striving to come up with new ideas for our clients, Avery is creative and thoughtful. Whether it’s a new story idea or way to do things more effectively, she’s always on the ball.
Adaptable. This girl keeps all the plates spinning. Around here priorities change by the minute and Avery can keep everything balanced even when something new is thrown her way.
Responsive. As professionals in the communication industry, it’s crucial that we build strong relationships with our clients and the media. Part of that means responding clearly to requests and messages in a timely manner.
Effective. Avery understands the big picture—an important trait that allows her to understand which actions will be most productive and effective in meeting clients’ goals.
Confident. As Gina stated in a recent blog, “Self-confident people are willing to take risks, ask questions and admit mistakes.” This sums up Avery, who isn’t afraid to ask fellow Groupies for advice or toss around out-of-the-box ideas for clients.
Conscious. Avery pays attention to details so that nothing falls through the cracks. She’s also understanding of others’ busy schedules, so she makes things easier for everyone by making smart decisions and acting on them.
Loyal. Whether during internal planning meetings or when you ask for help on a quick project, Avery speaks her mind and works hard to build lasting relationships with the Bradford Group team.
Principled. Simply put, Avery is a good person. She’s honest, open and has the integrity that it takes to be an amazing employee.
Enjoyable. Avery’s bubbly personality and punny jokes light up the office on a daily basis. And, as our go-to foodie, she provides us with great recommendations for lunch outings and coffee breaks in the neighborhood.
