Alex Newby started her first day as a Groupie in August 2014. She put her PR chops to work and has since been promoted from account associate to account executive. Known for her sincere dislike of awkward silences, she keeps our office halls filled with laughter.
I asked Alex a few questions about her first year as a Bradford Groupie. Here’s what she had to say:
Describe your first day at the Bradford Group in one word.
Exciting!
What’s been your favorite quarterly celebration or theme at the Bradford Group?
I really enjoyed the quarter when we went go-kart racing, even though it was terrifying.
Office door open or closed?
Closed because I’ll talk to everyone that walks by if it’s open.
Favorite office must-have or accessory?
A candle
Favorite mid-day snack?
Another cup of coffee … and whatever treat is sitting out on the kitchen counter.
Favorite Beer Friday beverage?
Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale
If you could keep the Bradford fridge stocked with just one thing, what would it be?
Diet Coke. My dream already came true!
Favorite/funniest Jeff Bradford memory?
For Halloween, Jeff dressed up as an 80s rocker – wig and all. Before heading to a client party, he had to fill up his gas tank at the station across the street. It was a shock, and a real treat, to look out the office window and see him pumping gas dressed like that.
What’s the best thing about working at the Bradford Group?
The people! I love my co-workers.
And we love her! Join us in wishing Alex a happy Groupie anniversary. Here’s to many more!
